Meet Our Knowledgeable and Compassionate Dental Staff

Our dental staff in Rio Rancho, NM, consists of wonderful people who have made the science of care giving into an art. We are active in our professional organizations and we are constantly striving to improve our care to our patients through professional study groups and continuing education. State-of-the-art diagnostic technology and patient education tools help us to help our patients achieve and maintain their optimal dental health.

Tawnie

Office Manager

Tawnie joined Dr. Crisler’s practice in June of 2021. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2012, receiving her certification as a Dental Assistant. Tawnie was a chairside dental assistant for several years and she enjoyed working with patients. Taking a deeper interest in the inner workings of dental practices, Tawnie made the move towards the front office, where she thoroughly enjoys working with the patients, insurance groups, and office management as a whole. Tawnie loves being in the dental field, and the fulfillment she receives participating in each patient’s dental health and success. Tawnie grew up in Corrales and adores being part of the Northwest Albuquerque community and culture. In her free time, she loves to enjoy activities with her family and friends and especially enjoys traveling.

Kayla

Certified Dental Assistant

Kayla started with Dr. Crisler as a CNM dental assisting student for her clinical rotations in the fall semester of 2020. After she graduated, she was hired as a full time assistant. Kayla is our preceptor for students that come to our office for their training. Kayla is committed to making patients feel comfortable and making their appointments as pleasant as she can. In her free time, Kayla likes to travel, exercise, and spend time with her husband and their dog, Lily!

Bella

Dental Assistant

Bella grew up in the small town of Bernalillo, New Mexico with her two younger brothers and then later moved to Rio Rancho. After graduating from high school, she joined the dental assisting program at CNM and was placed at Dr. Crisler’s office for her clinical externship. She recently completed the dental assisting program and is now an important part of Dr. Crisler’s team. Bella’s goal is to provide the best dental care and experience possible. In her free time, Bella enjoys snowboarding, shopping, and traveling.

Chandra

Dental Hygienist

Chandra was born and raised in Albuquerque, and is now a resident of Rio Rancho.
She graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. During College she worked along side her dad in his local dental laboratory. She is passionate about building strong and trusting relationships with her patients.
It is her goal to provide a pleasant and judgement free experience. Your comfort is her top priority.
She is here to partner with her patients to help them achieve their dental health goals and have a healthy smile for a lifetime. Outside of work she is an avid fly fisher, and enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and daughter.
