The ZOOM!® System is a long-trusted method known for its incredible efficiency in overcoming stains and discoloration to create a dazzling smile. This teeth whitening process is fast and straightforward:

• A special guard is placed over your gums to protect them during the whitening process.
• A professional-grade bleaching gel formulated from hydrogen peroxide is carefully applied to your teeth.
• A special light is applied in 15-minute cycles, which activates the bleaching agents in the gel.
• The cycle will be repeated until the desired level of whiteness is achieved, usually in 3-4 cycles.

As part of our larger commitment to patient comfort, we also provide a special sensitivity toothpaste for patients to use ten days prior to treatment to reduce potential discomfort.

Take-home Teeth Whitening

Patients may instead opt for ZOOM!® teeth whitening treatment in the comfort of their own home. The lower concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the take-home gel equates to a reduced chance of gum or tooth sensitivity. We also provide our patients with customized dental trays to ensure an optimal fit.

You will fill the tray with the bleaching gel and wear it for several hours each day, for a period of one to three weeks. Patients can expect results that are very similar to those achieved with an in-office teeth whitening procedure.
